Our Team

The Summit staff team is a diverse group of individuals who love God, pray together, laugh together and strive to be in tune with the vision God has for Summit. They value each other and the volunteers they serve with, working hard to provide an atmosphere that makes Summit welcoming to people in our surrounding communities.

Pastors Scott & Connie LeLaCheur

Pastors Scott and Connie LeLaCheur have ministered together for over 38 years living out God’s word and truths about being a follower of Christ, teaching and encouraging everyone to thrive, living out God’s purpose for their lives. They began their ministry in Spokane, Washington, both pursued Pastoral Studies at Eugene Bible College (New Hope College) and Pastor Scott went on to receive his master’s degree in theology from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

Pastor Scott is a third generation Pastor. Pastor Connie gave her life to the Lord when she was teenager. Healing, rescue and grace from the Lord in her life birthed a desire to see people free to live out their God given destiny. Pastors Scott and Connie have been married 38 years and have three children. They minister together with the next generations of their family sharing the love of Jesus. Madison and her husband Tom Stanley along with their children, Scotlyn Rae, Cash McCoy, and Stetson Rhett live in Michigan and serve in worship ministry. The LeLaCheur’s youngest daughter, Macie and her husband Nick Moyer minister at Summit. Macie is Summit’s Missions and Outreach Pastor as she also works with Missions social work and Christa’s Home Orphanage in India. Nick and Macie are also our Children’s pastors here at Summit. The LeLaCheur’s son, Austin, is getting a degree in music while serving on the worship team at Summit.

Pastors Scott and Connie’s greatest desire is to see the Foothill region of Los Angeles transformed by God by meeting both the practical and spiritual needs of the people of Southern California. Their hope is for Summit Christian Church to be a place where people come to experience God and their lives are changed forever. They want to equip people with the tools needed to live out their best lives possible. They hope to see the Foothill region of LA be forever changed by the presence of the Lord.
